After a tiresome shopping in Lajpatnagar market, I entered “SAMBARPOT” yesterday.
My impression In a nutshell:
1 ⭐️ Pleasing Ambience” of the Dining area with soothing music.
2 ⭐️ Cleanliness ” In the light of the recent ‘Covid Crisis’ on the background; Hygiene in the Kitchen is next to none on the Priority Prescription
3 ⭐️ Hospitality”-Attention/care of the staff was pleasing enough to refresh/resurrect my energies
4 ⭐️ Quality/Taste”. Obviously, the heart ❤️ of the restaurant is how “‘Delicious” the Food is.
Eg. Idly with Sambar & chutneys that I relished was so soft, a rare attribute in Delhi Restaurants
5 🌟 Reasonable Price” Finally, the bill that we pay is fairly reasonable.

Sambar Pot is much much better than Sagar, which was once market leader for South Indian food. Nice ambience, good service. courteous. prompt and attentive staff.
The best part is Welcome drink - Rasam and Papad.
All meals comes with a complimentary sweets too.
Hope they will continue with the same taste and service.

Well the first thing I wanna say is....it was an amazing experience from the entrance to the exit. The best fine dine in place in South Delhi for an experience of South Indian cuisine.
The ambience is peaceful, artistic and the food...yummy for the tummy 😋😋🤤🤤🤤
Really had a delightful lunch over there. Perfectly balanced spices with finger linking taste.
The cost is very reasonable and affordable as compared to any other restaurants nearby.
I would definitely recommend going there for amazing food.

Found this gem while walking around in Lajpat Nagar. One of the best south indian food I've had in a while. We ordered mysore masala dosa and rava masala dosa. The food was delicious and the sizes were good too. The sambar and the chutneys were to die for.

The location on google maps is incorrect, the restaurant is located on the first floor below QD.

Went there for the first time today..The food was delicious. The complementary rasam appalam was amazing. The south Indian platter was amazing too..Hope you continue with the same quality 😊
